Sheer fun working on this stylized parrot. Super-fun, with vibranbt colors, 36" x 36."
Square version of this classic, tropical foral 48" x 48."
Fresh, bold 36" x 36"
Exciting, lively tropical with a rich, dark background. A slight divergence from my usual style, this one gets a lot of attention at 48" x 60."
Eye-catching, stylized floral! This one has a vibrant "wow" at 48"x 60." Intense color. An exciting piece.
Enchanting bunch! 36" x 48" I was inspired by this bunch of backyard bananas, pulled from the plant while still green. I loved the coloration and decided to make this stylized version using mainly green with lovely accent colors.
Bright, exhuberant tropical pop art. Original 30"x40" Enjoy!
40" x 30"
Warn and delightful. Contact the artist for this special piece. Her Fruitilicious Majesty won honors in a Portrait Competition.
24"x24"
An absolute fave of the artist. Sumptious, rich color scheme.
36" x 36" Pure whimsy, stylized by the artist. Hugely fun original, professionally framed 1" (black metal).
This one won honors in a portrait competition.
This captivating heliconia stands 36" x 36."
Original available in 36" x 48," she's dramatic and whimsical.
This canvas transports me to a world of rich, aromatic coffee amidst a tropical, floral backdrop. The lobster claw botanicals came from my own photo, taken in Naples, SW Florida. The female image reminds me of several people I already know, here tranquilly savoring the moment.
18" x 24"
This odd bird I created for someone special, and he wanted it stylized! I just jumped in with the usual flamingo colors, then added plenty more accents for fun and flair.
This was an earlier work, inspired by this important friend who encouraged my artistic ambitions; that is, my new creative beginnings, starting over again in Florida and its glorious tropicl wildlife.
40" x 30"
Pineapple Love won honors in a juried digital art show, July 2023. She leapt from the pages of my sketchbook and onto the canvas with quintessentially tropical details like the hibiscus and the pineapple.
35" x 35" One of my earlier works, she was everything I wanted to create... someone a bit bohemian yet tropical, with abstract flowers. I forged a style that seemed unique yet eye-pleasing.
The meditation title just fit the painting as much as it fit me. My art is my meditation and flow. And every day I am grateful for the abundance of my world, my life!
We actually have birds of paradise in the garden, and I cannot resist the beauty of this plant! The subject lends itself to a sprawling composition, and I made this canvas grand! It stands 5' wide, yes, 60" x 48."
Here I combine the feminine subject with the tropical florals in the background. This bright but subtle canvas plays with the blended colors for a stylized effect.
Playing with birds, color and composition, I wanted to create a new version of subjects I am fond of.
As usual, my goal was a stylized piece, full of tropical charm. I love toucans, here paired with a parrot, and I jumped into this for sheer fun.
